2 inch 5 stainless steel pipe way

Stainless steel pipe is a kind of hollow long round steel, which is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, medical treatment, food, light industry, mechanical instrument and other industrial conveying pipelines and mechanical structural components. In addition, when the bending and torsional strength are the same, the weight is lighter, so it is also widely used in the manufacture of mechanical parts and engineering structures. Also because of its appearance and anti-corrosion properties, it is widely used in architectural decoration, such as handrails, door and window frames, street furniture, (outdoor) stairs, wall paneling, facades, etc.

The material of stainless steel pipe is divided into austenitic, ferritic, austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel and precipitation hardening stainless steel according to its microstructure.

Austenitic stainless steel: austenitic stainless steel has austenite as its main phase at room temperature. In stainless steel containing chromium, chromium forms a continuous and dense oxide film on the surface, which is called the passive film. The passive film has good corrosion resistance and is not easy to corrosion. Under the condition of enough oxygen, even if the concentration of chloride ion or other corrosive medium in water is high, it will not corrode austenitic stainless steel.

Ferritic stainless steel: ferritic stainless steel is mainly composed of ferrite. In addition to iron, chromium is also added. The chromium content is generally between 10.5% and 27%. Under the condition of enough oxygen, a thin and dense oxide film is formed on the surface, which is also called the passive film. The passive film has good corrosion resistance. In some media, the corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steel is better than that of austenitic stainless steel, but it is not as good as that of austenitic stainless steel in most media.

Austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel: austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel with austenite and ferrite as main phases. The microstructure is usually 50% ~ 70% austenite and 30% ~ 50% ferrite. In addition to iron, chromium is also added. The chromium content is generally between 10.5% and 27%. Molybdenum, nickel, nitrogen, manganese and other elements may be added to improve the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The passive film of austenitic-ferritic stainless steel is dense and has good corrosion resistance.

Precipitation hardening stainless steel: precipitation hardening stainless steel is a kind of stainless steel with high strength and high hardness. In addition to iron, chromium is also added. The chromium content is generally between 10.5% and 27%. Molybdenum, nickel, nitrogen, manganese and other elements may be added to improve the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The passive film of precipitation hardening stainless steel is dense and has good corrosion resistance.
